About Us
Do you love the natural world as much as we do? Here at Fox Feather Craft, we realize how difficult it is to find hand made quality goods that share the stories and wonder of this planet and its people. That's why we have spent countless hours making and sourcing the highest quality materials this Earth has to offer, in hopes to give you a beautiful representation of how precious and amazing this world really is.
We are located in the heart of southern Utah, outside a small town called Boulder. This small community ebbs and flows with the seasons, where most everyone is keen on taking care of their families, their gardens, and the land. Where the work never ceases, and the beauty never dies.

After many years of studying the land and learning the ancient ways of survival and living with the Earth, we at Fox Feather Craft have grown an appreciation for what gifts and treasures Mother Nature has to offer us.

Beginning with Buckskin! Our Braintan Buckskin is made right here on Boulder Mountain. We gather the deer hides from hunters in the fall, who would otherwise discard of them. We work the hides through an ancient process known as Brain Tanning. For thousands of years, ancient peoples of this Earth have used a combination of water, brains, and smoke to make some of the most luxurious and integral leather known to man. Everything from clothing and shoes, bags and toys, even jewelry and tools were made from this most magnificent material.

Our Feathers are all humanly sourced from rehabilitation centers and bird sanctuaries, to farmers and fishermen. Every feather is hand selected and meticulously gone over to guarantee the finest qualities of strength and beauty.
All of our Turquoise and Silver comes from the West and Southwest regions of North America. Carefully selected and worked to give you nothing short of magnificent, gem quality, perfection!

Care and Maintenance
​Caring for your Buckskin
Buckskin is quite a simple and fairly indestructible leather to take care of. It cleans easily, gently scrubbed with a rinse of water and let to dry. It may feel a little stiff once dry. Not to Worry! With your hands, gently work it, in and out and back and forth, till it plushes soft once again.
*DO NOT Clean with any soaps or detergents!
*Machine washing NOT recommended!
Caring for your Feathers
Feather are relatively easy to care for. Simply stroke the feather in its natural direction with your fingers to reconnect any stray plumes. If ever a feather gets dirty, gently brush with a warm wet Q-tip or cotton swab.
*DO NOT Clean with soaps or detergents!
*Machine washing NOT recommended!
*DO NOT leave buried in the mud!
Caring for your Earrings
As stated above, you don't want to leave your jewelry buried in the mud. If it gets dirty, simply clean it gently with some water and let dry. If you'd like, you can twist the buckskin while it's still damp, to redefine any desired shape or position.
All jewelry and bags are made and designed to hold up against some of the toughest weather and adventures! However, with this being said, if you pull on the feathers as hard as you can, they will break... Try to keep away from hungry critters and wild children :)
